Room Decorations

So I wanted to a bit of a spring room decoration post with all my new little plants that I got. I always think its good to have plants in your room to make it a bit more lively, to have a fresher look and also a little green doesn't hurt! My mom is really into plants and she has such amazing flowers in the backyard. Most of my nature photography can come just from my backyard with all the flowers that she has haha. Its amazing, and don't get me started on the front yard, that's a whole other story there. Well as for my little plants and creations, some spring design always helps to liven up a room

So starting off, here is the top of my bookshelf. My shelf is basically connected to my computer table (IKEA is amazing) and with the top shelf being pretty lonely after all my Christmas decoration came down, green little low maintenance plants are always cute to add on. So I had my little lantern for a while now. Love the vintage look and little beat up look it has to the metal part if you look closely. But the part I like the most about it is that it doesn't light up and need something to charge or connect or have a battery, but has a little spot for a cute little candle. I use the adorable little tealights in my room mostly. I think tealights are the best for a little room since they can be basically anywhere, aren't dangerously tall or heavy and go out once they are done. I usually have them on during the evening and while I go to bed, they usually are out by then.

So here on my shelf, I added my two little plants I got from Home Depot, not sure what happened to the one in the back, it kinda didn't like the sun I assume so trying to figure that plant out. (Not the plant genius haha) My old bamboo plant is still there thriving there in the back. My wax warmer in the back melting on my favorite smells, leaving my room beautifully scented.

My favorite plant is my vine on the top of my bookshelf. It leaves have finally trailed down after waiting for so long to have a vine haha, but it looks so pretty as it goes down my bookshelf. I just hope the other side trails as well haha, I like to keep little decorations on this shelf or decorative boxes on here to hold my things and extra letters, crafts, fabric, etc. (Again, IKEA is amazing).

On my dresser, I have my candle and my salt lamp. Of course my candle is way bigger than my tealight, but I just love giant candles, I mean who doesn't? With my rustic wooden box and salt lamp that is basically my night light now, it is cute during the evenings as it glows.

And of course, nothing a cute little mason jar craft can't do. I have this one near my makeup table so during the evenings this is glowing on one side of my room as the others on the shelves are as well!

Hope you liked these ideas and spread them around! Thank you for reading, leave a comment and make sure to like this post if you enjoyed it!
