With summer coming around, and the fruit season sprouting, my apple tree tends to overflow with so many apples, and one person can only eat so many apples in a day. A great summer dessert or coffee treat would be some apple bread. Not too sweet or too plain, it does the job.

What you will need:
* 1 1/2 cup of flour
* 3/4 cup of sugar
* 3/4 teaspoon of baking soda
* 1/2 teaspoon of salt
* 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
* 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
* 2/3 cup of vegetable oil (canola oil can be used as well
* 2 eggs
* 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
* 2 cups of peeled and chopped apples
First, you would start off by having your oven preheated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then get started on combing your dry ingredients. Combine your flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in one bowl and make sure to mix well. After that is all set, add in the oil, eggs and vanilla to the mixture, and once that is mixed, add in the apples. If you find the mixture to be too watery or dry, add more of the wet or dry ingredients to make its base even.
Then pop it into the oven for about 60 minutes, and let it cool for about 10 minutes and enjoy :)
