Mango Walnut Bread

Easy and unique recipe that all will love.


At first, I was very wary about how this will turn out with mango being in a bread and then mixed with walnuts? Turned out to be a good risk and thought I should share. The mango isn't so overpowering in the bread, and the walnuts add the perfect crunch.





What you will need:

  • 1/2 cup of sugar

  • 1/3 cup of canola oil

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup of flour

  • 3/4 teaspoon of baking powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg

  • 3/4 cup of mango (about 1-2 mangoes will do)

  • 1/4 cup of walnuts

Set temperature to 375 degrees Fahrenheit

1. Combine the sugar, oil, and egg in one separate bowl and mix.

2. Then combine the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in another bowl and mix.

3. Then combine them both into one bowl and mix those together. 4. Now for the mangoes, you are doing to peel and chop the mangoes. I diced them up a bit and left some bigger chunks here and there.

5. Chop up the walnuts too so they are diced up.

6. Add those into the mix and stir it all together so that everything is covered and combined.

7. Bake it for about 25-30 mins and enjoy :)
